PROJECT SUPPLIES
Railway Infrastructures
LINERIN supplied the necessary reinforcing steel bars for the construction of the Regional Express Train (TER), one of the flagship projects in West Africa. The TER is an ultra-modern transport system with 55 km of track and 14 stations and was built in two phases. The first phase involved the upgrading of 36 km of existing infrastructure, while the second phase involved the construction of 19 km of new track. The new line is expected to carry approximately 115,000 passengers per day when fully operational.
Electrical Networks
LINERIN supplied the steel needed to improve and expand Benin's electrical networks. The network expansion project consisted of the reinforcement and extension of medium and low voltage networks in several districts and 37 villages and included the installation of thousands of concrete poles, new cabling, substations, transformers, and street lighting. We supplied the steel for the construction of 20,000 concrete poles.
Renewable Energy
Our steel has reached various parts of the world to enable the construction of wind and solar farms to promote renewable energy. One of our latest project supplies was in West Africa, where we delivered the steel needed for the construction of a park that will power some 150,000 local homes.
Port Expansion
Each project has its specific needs and at LINERIN we accept any challenge to find and deliver the most suitable material for each situation. For the expansion of the port of Freetown in Sierra Leone, we supplied CEM I 42.5 R and CEM I 42.5 N bagged cement to guarantee a work of the highest quality and resistance.
Road and Bridge Construction
The distance of 7,500 km between our headquarters and the Comoros Islands was no obstacle to supplying the materials needed to expand and improve the country's road network. At LINERIN, we like challenges and we go as far as you need us to go.
Storage Tanks
The request for steel dished heads, steel plates and heavy beams for the construction of 40 storage tanks in North Africa to be re-exported to Europe motivated our team to find the right material, arrange the corresponding door-to-door logistics and set up the financial structure required for the project.
